Barefoot Care

Horses naturally connect to the earth through their hooves. The majority of horses can be barefoot when given the proper environment, diet, & mineral support. Kate trained with Ida Hammer through her whole horse trimming program and was Certified in April 2022. Ida has created a fantastic network of barefoot trimmers that support each other throughout the US.

Supportive Hoof Care

This is a customizable option where the horse may not be truly comfortable in their hooves, due to previous injury, pathology, or riding discipline demands.

Booting: There are many options and it can be overwhelming and expensive to try and figure it out by trial and error. Work with Resonance Equine Services to come up with the best option for your equine friends.

Casting: This modality provides added supported to the hoof wall and can provide protection to horses that may be more sensitive in their hooves, or in the process of transitioning to barefoot.

Gluing: There are so many polyurethane shoe options available now that can be glued prevent excessive horn wear, or allow for additional horn growth. This would be a great option for equines that are in active training.

FormaHoof (coming soon)

This is a liquid composite that can address hoof imbalances in 3D. There is nothing else available for hooves that can address protection, balance, and comfort during painful situations like laminitis, white line disease, & abscesses.

Bodywork

In order to provide comprehensive care to the hooves, compensatory patterns in the body will need to be addressed simultaneously. Many times wear patterns in the hooves return if the body is not address. The resonance that can be found in doing both can be life changing for both the horse & human.
